Writing is very important in our class. During 4th quarter, we try to sound out the beginning, the middle, and ending sounds of words as we write our stories.  We are learning to go back to check to see if we have spaced between words, put a capital letter on the first words of our sentences, and used a punctuation mark at the end.  We continue to work on using describing words to tell about the characters and the setting of our stories. We have begun to write on first grade paper.
